Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Slice off the top of the head of the garlic, exposing the top of all of the garlic cloves.
Put the garlic on a large piece of aluminum foil, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
Wrap the garlic in the foil and bake until the clove are golden brown and soft enough to be easily squeezed from the paper, about an hour.
